Billy Gouveia

Billy Gouveia is CEO & Founder of Surefire Cyber, a leading digital forensics and incident response firm that has supported hundreds of organizations through ransomware incidents. Prior to founding Surefire Cyber, Billy served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Forgepoint Capital. His previous experience includes leading the U.S. business for a global risk consultancy, serving as COO of a managed services start-up, and in executive roles at Protiviti, Sungard, and Booz Allen. Early in his career, he served in the U.S. Army and worked in the Intelligence Community. Billy holds a BA from Columbia University and an MA from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
